I enjoy thinking outside the box to create innovative marketing tactics and eye catching material. An example of this innovative thinking is the creation of a local magazine as a marketing tactic for the Jaguar's Jungle Lodge in Costa Rica. The intention of the magazine was solely to advertise the resort and local conservation efforts, but its sleek design and interesting content made it a popular publication that became a separate income generating entity. As the chief editor, I design every issue of the 30-50 page magazine that began making profits off advertising after just 2 issue releases! The magazine is both online and printed with 3,500 copies in distribution per issue in the South Pacific. It is now used to continue educating the public about key environmental issues in Costa Rica, and has the local community talking about how to solve these issues.
